We are a community dedicated to judo enthusiasts in Oradea and the surrounding area. With a rich history in the development of this sport and qualified coaches, we pride ourselves on providing an excellent environment for practicing judo, regardless of age or level of experience.

Judo Club Liberty

Judo Club Liberty Oradea was founded in 1995 by Mr. Marius Vizer, President of the International Judo Federation (IJF), becoming a pillar in the judo community in Oradea and Romania from the very beginning. Over the years, the club has carried out its activities with passion and dedication, promoting the values of judo and training numerous talented practitioners.

Our club boasts numerous achievements over the years. Here are some of the most notable successes:
Medals at the National Championships – Judo Club Liberty Oradea has had numerous athletes who have won gold, silver and bronze medals at the National Judo Championships, both at the children and junior levels, as well as at the senior level.

Medals at the National Championships:

Our athletes have successfully represented Romania at important international competitions, bringing home medals and recognition for the club and our country.
The most prestigious trophy obtained by Judo Club Liberty is winning the European Champions Cup in 1999.

Developing young talents:

One of our main goals is to cultivate future judo talents. Our club enjoys a successful development program, where young judoka can develop their skills and participate in competitions at local and national levels.
Judo Club Liberty Oradea continues to grow and inspire generations of judoka, providing quality training and supporting the values of the sport.
